Bristol Group of the Alpine Garden Society

We are a  national society of about 10,000 members interested in the cultivation and conservation of alpine plants , bulbs , ferns and small perennials, In short, rockery plants.

We meet from Sept. to May on the third Friday of the month in the Church hall at 7.30pm.  Subscription for the year 2010-11 is 10, including free refreshments.

We have visiting speakers who give slide shows of the plants growing all round the world and lectures on how to grow them yourself.

We are all very friendly and helpful and have free refreshments, outings to members gardens and further afield and a Christmas Social.

We have lovely plants for sale at bargain prices and members can sell their surplus.

Further details are available from Marion Monahan, Hon Secy, at marionmonahan@myguide.net or 0117-9503422.
