THE BANNER GROUP

The Banner Group started in 1990 and we made our first banner for Christmas that year.  Then followed banners for the major Church Festivals  Later we were given more hanging space and we made banners that could be displayed throughout the year.

For these we try to come up with ideas that we hope will contribute to the worship in our church.

We meet on Monday afternoons,  2.15-3.45 pm in the second Activity Room.  Our numbers are rather depleted at the moment.  For a while Lorna and I were on our own but now we have been joined by Anthea Mustard and we have been very pleased to welcome her.  We are hoping that soon Marion Povey will be able to come back and join us again.

We would love to have some more members, so if you think you might be interested, come along and see what we do. You will find that we don't take ourselves too seriously and enjoy sharing ideas and skills.
