Covid Cautious Policy

The recommendations below are being made after the Government’s decision to revert to Plan A from 27th Jan.
  • The Government states that after 27th Jan there is no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering, but it suggests that you continue to do so in crowded, enclosed spaces;
  • The Methodist Church has now issued guidance suggesting that precautions such as ventilation, mask wearing, good hygienic practice together with testing and self isolation when needed, should be encouraged.
  • These recommendations are provisional until further guidance becomes available.
We recognise that most aspects of Covid related conduct will be matters of personal choice and that individual views do vary. We hope that all users of these premises will consider seriously and will comply with this policy both in their own interest and in that of their fellow-users.
  1. If you have tested positive, or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive, or are unwell, please stay at home; do not come!
  2. Please sanitise your hands on arrival in the Foyer;
  3. Please consider wearing a mask or visor, particularly in communal areas such as the corridors, Foyer and toilets;
  4. Please try to maintain social distancing of at least 1 M when possible;
  5. Refreshments may be served in the Foyer
  6. Maintain maximum ventilation in all rooms;
  7. It is no longer necessary to sign in on arrival.
Will User organisations please:
  • Continue to supervise the arrival and departure of members in the Foyer;
  • Permit parents to enter the Foyer to deliver or receive children, but not to wait there;
  • All cleaning arrangements to continue as before, that is, clean all surfaces before your meeting.
27th Jan 2022.
